At the baseball-themed Bruins of the Year event on April 17, 2025, Fifth Grade teacher Shellee Reed was honored as the Jane Phillips Teacher of the Year. She was introduced by student Liam Evans.
Second Grade teacher Jennifer Hufford was honored as the school's Rising Star Teacher, an award for teachers with one to four years of experience.
Special Education Paraprofessional Mark Rushing was not only honored as the school's Classified Person of the Year, but he also was chosen as the Districtwide Classified Person of the Year.
